UC Bantam Winter League Information
Tryouts in given areas will be posted as soon as dates are obtained by UC Bantam. UC Bantam does not always recieve this info!
Please ask neighbors, friends etc and seek tryout information in your area as well.
UC Bantam is not always informed of tryout dates in all areas.
BOYS TEAMS - Divisions A, B1, B2, B3 (NO CLUB TEAMS, Players play for 1 HS area!)
UC Bantam is open, in some areas, to teams formed by parents that have players from the same HS areas participating on them. These parent formed teams are able to participate as follows: NOT ALL AREAS HAVE THIS OPTION -Check with your area or UC Bantam.
- 8th grade Boys parent formed teams are eligible to participate in B divisions (These teams are for those that have not made a tryout team or are in areas where the Bantam program is not all inclusive)
- 7th grade Boys parent formed teams are eligible to participate in B divisions (These teams are for those that have not made a tryout team or are in areas where the Bantam program is not all inclusive)
- 4th, 5th and 6th grade parent formed teams may participate in any division (These teams are for those that have not made a tryout team or are in areas where the Bantam program is not all inclusive or the Bantam program does not cover the age groups)
GIRLS TEAMS (NO CLUB TEAMS, Players play for 1 HS area!)
UC Bantam is open to teams formed by parents that have players from the same HS areas participating on them. These parent formed teams are able to participate as follows:
UC Bantam will continue to have girls:
- 8GA, 8GB, & (if numbers allow 8GB2) divisions (parent formed teams can play in any division)
- 7GA, 7GB, & (if numbers allow 7GB2) divisions (parent formed teams can play in any division)
- 6GA and 6GB Divisions (parent formed teams can play in any division)
- 5GA and 5GB divsion NEW (parent formed teams can play in any division)
- 4GA and 4GB division NEW (parent formed teams can play in any division)
UC Bantam does NOT accept individual player registrations
Register early this season as the necessity to limit the number of teams in UC Bantam may arise
Registration Deadline November 15 (first possible date of play Nov. 28)
Teams must have declared for the league and payment must be in to UC Bantam prior to Deadline date.
Payments after November 15, $25 late fee.
Teams without AAU numbers by Nov. 28 will forfeit all games until registration is on file.
Cost: $895.00 per team. 10 games (All teams will play 10 games, the TOP 4 teams in LARGER division will play in a final playoff for Division Championship. MUST FINISH IN TOP 4 of your division to qualify for final playoff - SMALLER divisions -under 10 teams - top 2 teams will qualify for a final game) Final playoff dates/times will be final.
Where Schools throughout Utah County and limited games at Wasatch HS/Jr High
When: Monday evenings, Wednesday evenings or Saturdays (8am to 10pm possible times. See possible dates of play below) Teams will play approximately 1 time per week on one of those days - save any bye weeks. See possible dates of play below.
Uniforms: Not Provided by League - teams are responsible for uniforms
Very Important:
- All players AND coaches must be members of the AAU to participate in UC Bantam Basketball.
- Coaches (Adult) AAU memberships now take 5-10 days to process.
- Team registration will not be accepted until all players and coaches have an AAU number on file.

**Games Cancelled, Forfeited or otherwise affected by weather or COVID-19 will not be made up, replayed, or refunded**
***UC Bantam, the area high school coaches, and the area schools are not obliged to provide practice time or facilities for teams***

Games missed, forfeited, cancelled or missed due to bad weather, traffic, COVID-19 issues or other issues will not be made up or reimbursed. If the gyms are open UC Bantam is not responsible for teams to arrive. Teams traveling from distances please keep this in mind when registering.
